Your dog’s safety comes first. Here’s exactly what happens if a health concern comes up during a stay.
Minor concerns
We’ll let you know right away, and keep you updated as needed.
If urgent veterinary care is needed
- We’ll try to reach you, and your named emergency contact, first
- If we can’t reach either of you and urgent care is reasonably required, Vikram acts as guardian to get your dog the necessary stabilising treatment
- We’ll coordinate with your preferred veterinarian whenever possible
Costs
Veterinary, medication and transport costs arising from emergency care remain the pet parent’s responsibility.
This is why accurate health and behaviour information at booking — and a reachable emergency contact — matter so much. See our Health & Vaccination Policy for what we ask you to disclose.
