To keep every dog in our care safe and comfortable, we ask for the following before booking.
Age and vaccination requirements
- Minimum age: 5 months, with required vaccinations complete
- Core vaccinations must be current
- Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is preferred but not mandatory
- Tick and flea prevention must be current
Breed, size and temperament
We don’t restrict by breed or weight — every dog is assessed individually at a free Meet & Greet.
- Unneutered dogs are accepted case by case after the Meet & Greet, where behaviour is safe and non-aggressive
- We’re not able to accept female dogs in heat
- We’re not able to accept dogs with a contagious illness
- Other illness or recovery is considered case by case, and veterinary clearance may be required
Medication
Oral medicines and supplements are accepted with written instructions and your authorisation. Injections are accepted only when prescribed by a veterinarian, with written dosage and schedule provided in advance.
What we ask you to disclose
Please tell us honestly about any aggression, bite history, escape behaviour, anxiety, resource guarding, health conditions or previous incidents before your dog’s first stay. This isn’t about excluding your dog — it helps us plan the right care and keep every dog in the home safe, including yours.
